The Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) has released a list of recognized universities offering Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree programs in the country. The list is also published in daily newspapers for the guidance of students and parents.

The PVMC has announced that some government and private universities are offering non-recognized DVM programs. Students who complete their degree from a non-recognized institution will not be able to get themselves registered with the veterinary council.
