PMDC Announces MDCAT 2023 Exam Date

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially declared the date for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2023. The upcoming MDCAT 2023 exam is scheduled to take place on the 27th of August, 2023. This exam holds immense significance for aspiring medical and dental students, as it serves as a crucial evaluation criterion. The exam is conducted at designated Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) centers, following a uniform policy.

Decision and Context

The decision to set the MDCAT 2023 exam date on the 27th of August was influenced by the recommendation of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Health. The members of the Council collectively agreed upon this date. Importantly, this decision was made while taking into consideration the extensive preparations already undertaken by various Provincial Governments and admitting universities across the country.

Consistent Syllabus

The PMDC has opted to maintain continuity by keeping the syllabus for the MDCAT 2023 Exam unchanged from the previous year’s examination. This decision ensures that students can prepare effectively based on the established curriculum.
