Petrol Prices in Pakistan Remain Unchanged for July 1-15, 2023

The federal government has kept petrol prices unchanged for the next fortnight, from July 1 to 15, 2023. The price of petrol will remain at Rs. 262 per litre, while the price of kerosene oil and light diesel oil (LDO) will also remain unchanged at Rs. 164.07 per litre and Rs. 147.68 per litre, respectively.

However, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has seen an increase of Rs. 7.50 per litre, bringing the new price of the commodity to Rs. 260.50 per litre.

The government’s decision to keep petrol prices unchanged is a relief to consumers, who have been facing rising inflation in recent months. However, the increase in the price of HSD is likely to have a negative impact on transportation costs and other sectors of the economy.
