Join Pak Army as Nurse AFNS 2023

The Pakistan Army is now accepting applications for the Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS) 2023. Female candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply.

Eligibility Criteria

For Trained Nurses as Lieutenant (Female):
- BSc Nursing (4 years) or 3 years diploma and 1-year midwifery
- Age limit 18-28 years as of 31st December 2023
- Registered with Pakistan Nursing Council PNC
- Minimum height 5 feet (152.4 cm)
- Weight should be as per the body mass index
For AFNS – BSc Nursing (Female):
- Matric with Science (60% marks) and FSc (Pre-Medical) minimum 50% marks
- Age limit 17-25 years as on 31 December 2023
- Registered with PNC
- Minimum height 5 feet (152.4 cm)
- Weight should be as per the body mass index

How to Apply

Online Application through Internet:
- Applicants can apply online through the Pakistan Army website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Online registration is open from 29 May to 30 June 2023.
Registration at Army Selection & Recruitment Centres:
- Candidates can visit the nearest recruitment centres and can do their registration. Bring all relevant documents in original as well attested copies. The list of the selection and recruitment centres is given below.

AFNS Registration and Entry Test Schedule

Registration will start from 29 May to 30 June 2023.
After the closing date of registration, the preliminary entry test will be scheduled.
Preliminary tests will include written tests/ intelligence tests/personality test.

- The AFNS Registration fee is only Rs. 100
What is the pass marks for the AFNS test?
- The minimum passing mark of the AFNS test is 30% for academic tests, 33% for non-verbal intelligence and 33% for verbal intelligence.
How many marks are required for Army Nursing?
- Minimum 60% marks in Matric and 50% marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) required
What is the salary of AFNS ranks?
- The salary of the AFNS rank is equivalent to BPS – 17 scale which is almost 50,000 to 60,000 PKR. other fringe benefits like medical, and free accommodation will be provided by Pakistan Army.
