Government of Punjab Approves Disbursement of Pay and Allowances for June 2023 in Advance on Account of Eid-ul-Azha

The Governor of the Punjab has approved the disbursement of pay and allowances for the month of June 2023 in advance on account of Eid-ul-Azha. The disbursement will be made on June 23, 2023, to all government employees and pensioners, belonging to the Muslim Community.

The approval was given in a notification issued by the Finance Department of the Government of Punjab. The notification said that the Governor had approved the advance disbursement in view of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

The notification also said that the advance disbursement would be made to all government employees and pensioners, belonging to the Muslim Community, who are on the rolls of the government on June 23, 2023.

The advance disbursement will be made in the same manner as the regular monthly disbursements. Employees will receive their pay and allowances through their bank accounts, while pensioners will receive their pensions through the post office.

The government has taken this step to facilitate government employees and pensioners and to help them celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with their families.
