Government of Punjab School Education Department Issues New Notification

The Government of Punjab School Education Department has issued a new notification regarding the equivalence of degrees for the purpose of recruitment and promotion of teachers. The notification, which was issued on May 16, 2023, states that the following degrees are equivalent to B.Ed. (4 years) / B.Ed. (Hons), BS.Ed (4 years degree) B.Ed. 2.5 years (after 14 years qualification) and B.Ed 1.5 years (after 16 years qualification):

MA Education
M.Ed.
BS Education

The notification also states that all of these disciplines / nomenclatures are Professional as well as Academic and Vice Versa. The decision will be enforced with immediate effect i.e. from the date of commencement of this QEDC.
